The Black students of MSD High in Parkland have finally been given the chance to speak out and surprise! They disagree with the platform being pushed by their white peers. Their flags are things we’ve (Black people online) been saying for weeks. Advocating for more police in schools and for a stronger police force is Shitty for Students of Color, particularly BLACK STUDENTS.
I also want to add that while the nonblack student leaders at the front have been trying to be ‘intersectional’ and give voices to Black kids affected by gun violence, the Black kids in their very own space went largely ignored. These Black students don’t have the clout or organizational connections to be put on a national stage and they are now asking to be listened to. Their voices are valuable as Black students directly affected by BOTH school shooting violence AND police brutality/state violence.
You’re funny Anon. Why don’t you show your face and we’ll have a civil discussion, and meanwhile I will continue to keep my cats indoors and advocate against letting them free roam.

How about this, Anon: Why when you walk your dog do you keep it nearby under voice command or on a leash, but a cat (a smaller and more vulnerable animal) is allowed to run free and unsupervised for its exercise?
No one is saying you shouldn’t walk your cat on a leash or under supervision. No one is saying you shouldn’t give a cat enrichment and exercise like a dog. Letting any other pet species run free the way we do cats would be considered extremely irresponsible and dangerous, which is why it needs to stop.
Witch balls have been a part of pagan tradition for many years. Their purpose is to protect the home and its inhabitants from evil and harm. Traditionally, you made a witch ball every year to seal fortune and protection for the next twelve months. You can hang this ornament in a window, over a doorway, in a bedroom or even outdoors; wherever you feel it would serve its purpose the best. It would look lovely as a Christmas or Yule decoration as well!
You can purchase empty ornaments and bottles from craft stores, or re-use old light bulbs for this! Fill it with the following:
Sprigs of Lavender to encourage a calm, peaceful environment
Chamomile Flowers to aid in relieving anxiety
Yarrow, Roses and Rose Quartz crystals to encourage self-love and love in relationships
Jasmine Flowers to attract wealth and sweet dreams
Cinnamon to draw happiness and comfort
You could also include:
A seashell and a shark tooth to incorporate the magic of the sea
Don Bluth movie cats look like they were designed by someone who has never personally met a cat, and envisions them as being some sort of large raccoon or rodent like creature
I would really like to point out that each design has a context. Without the context they are going to look weird. Grey cat on top is from Secret of Nihm. It’s in the view of a mouse so of course it’s going to look terrifying. Cat with match NATURALLY LOOKS LIKE RODENT WHICH IS WHY HE FAKES AS ONE. I could really go on but I’m too tired for that.
Short rant is: Don Bluth created characters to look a certain way for a reason and story telling. Fine if you don’t like them but at least he didn’t do same face/characters. They are all recognisable.

I made my first spell jar! Its purpose is to protect and cleanse my home, or the room it is in. It’s perfect for my dorm, and very easy to make!
🌱Everything inside this jar has some association with protection or cleansing or banishing negativity and creating a loving environment.
🌱What’s Inside:
-3 dried bay leaves with various protection and safety sigils drawn on them
-sage leaves
-mint leaves
-rosemary
-charged full moon water
-sea salt
-a pinch of black pepper
-some lemon peel
-a small piece of clear quartz
* I added some chicken bones in there since I’m very connected to the earth, and I feel as though the bones strengthen the spells connection and gives it an extra oomph, but that’s optional.
🌱You can add a chant or any other ingredients that fee right to you. I just told each ingredient its purpose in the jar and charged it with white candles and intent!
